This Viewfinder Magnifier for Leica M system adjusts the viewfinder’s image by a ratio of 0.85X, making the viewfinder’s image wider.  For example if your Leica M system camera has a 0.72X viewfinder, the viewfinder image will become 0.612X (0.85 x 0.72) after installation.  This is especially helpful when framing with wide-angle lenses, providing easier framing.

You need not worry about the brightness of the viewfinder’s image being affected after installation, as this magnifier does not affect the brightness of the viewfinder’s image at all.  This magnifier also does not create any vignetting affects.  The added 9mm in distance between the user’s eye and the viewfinder also helps the user avoid frequent contact of the nose with the camera body. 

Installation is simple; simply screw into the Leica M. viewfinder.  A small pouch is supplied for safekeeping when it’s not attached.  This small pouch is also useful for easy storage and carrying.
