00050: Antique Oak French Country Bed
You are bidding on a Victorian bed from France, circa 1900. It has an exceptionally pierced-carved top and shaped headboard and footboard. The footboard is raised paneled and has floral feet and French country legs on the headboard and footboard. It has great carved rails and takes a boxspring and mattress 52 1/2" wide x 76" long. IT is in good condition and tight and sturdy. the back side of the footboard does have some veneer damage as per picture.

PAYMENT

Payment of items shall be received within ten (10) days of close of auction unless prior arrangements are made. New Jersey residents and customers picking up are subject to 3.5% NJ Urban Enterprise Zone Sales Tax. Pickup from our store is more than welcome. If you have tax ID number, please bring a copy when picking up.

SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS

All local deliveries and pickups will be from Mount Holly, New Jersey, area code 08060. Residents within 50 miles of this area are encouraged to use Center Stage Antiques for fast, professional delivery with over twenty years experience or to pick up from our store directly. If you decide to pick up from our store, please contact us in advance for arrangements. New Jersey residents and customers picking up are subject to only 3.5% NJ Urban Enterprise Zone Sales Tax, saving 3.5% from the normal New Jersey sales tax.

Greyhound Flat Rate Counter to Counter

On smaller items valued under $300 (insurance maximum), we recommend you ship via Greyhound GPX location, available in the continental United States. We generally ship from the Mount Laurel terminal in New Jersey; quotes can be acquired for serious buyers by emailing us or from Greyhound directly at www.shipgreyhound.com. To find your local Greyhound Package Express Terminal go to that site and click on the brown locations tab. Please note: we add a one time $50 handling, packaging, and transportation fee to each item shipped using this method. We require insurance on all items. Generally, this is the most cost effective method of shipping outside of our delivery area. If you choose this shipping method please provide us with the name and address of your local Greyhound terminal and 1 or 2 telephone numbers at which we can reach you. If you choose to use this method Greyhound will contact you when your item arrives at your local terminal. Once shipped we will provide a tracking number with this service. Also, please remember you must pickup the item from the local Greyhound terminal, they do will not deliver the item(s) to your door.

Other Shipping Options:

GSELL Moving and Storage: this is a local company that has been doing business for over 50 years. They crate and ship any item, anywhere within the continental United States within 2-3 weeks. This is a door-to-door delivery service where they will un-package, carry up to two flights of stairs, and remove packing materials and dispose of them. No item is too big or too small. Their fees average between $250 and $600, including insurance. For an exact quote use the "Ask the Seller A Question" button at the top of the page and include the city and state to which it will be delivered.

eTransporters: We have found them to be very quick and efficient also, especially along the east coast. They are usually at our warehouse once a week, so most items can be delivered within a week anywhere on the east coast. We find the cost to be between $100-250 depending on weight and destination. THE UPS STORE*

*Note: The UPS Store is for smaller or midsize items. If you choose this method we will gladly drop off items to them for packing at our local branch in Lumberton, New Jersey. Once we receive payment for the item(s), we will drop off within 7 days and they will then contact you for shipping and packing charges. It is only necessary to pay us the winning bid and all shipping charges can be paid directly to UPS when they contact you. Please allow a few days for them to contact and ship. Serious inquires can receive a quote from us for this service via email at cstage@verizon.net.

CONDITION OF ITEMS

A majority of the questions that we get are in reference to the quality and condition of our items. We stock more than 4,000 pieces of furniture in our retail store, so the items that we list on eBay are only a small percentage of those. We put in our best effort to give the most accurate and detailed description we can when writing the listings, hoping that the transaction will yield 100% satisfaction for both paries. It is a top priority of Center Stage Antiques to bring to the public the highest quality items available; most items we list are used, and thus show normal signs of wear and use. However, some items we will list as "NEW," stating that they are indeed brand new.

RETURNS

As we strive for customer satisfaction, we are happy to offer returns on any item. At the time of delivery, the buyer must notify the shipper that they wish to return the item. You will then have to pay the shipping not only to your location but also back to our location at 41 King St., Mount Holly, New Jersey, 08060. When we receive the item we will then issue the refund for the purchase price. However, we will NOT refund the costs of shipping the item.

All shipping options are only recommendations, and you are more than welcome to use any shipper of your choice or to pick up from our location. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange. All items are ready for shipment at close of auctions. Shipping companies will do their own packaging or wrapping prior to delivery. We do not package or crate items except for those shipped by Center Stage Antiques delivery service or through Greyhound GPX Counter to Counter service. All other packing and crating will be done by the third party shipping company. The above recommended companies will accommodate. If using a company of your choice, please be sure that they will properly package and insure your items for shipping.

Please understand that all shipping other than delivery from Center Stage Antiques is third party and we cannot be responsible for delays and other things beyond our control. We do everything possible to ensure prompt delivery.
