Nomad Crimson Ti:
The state-of-the-art all
mountaineer.
All new to the Nomad lineup,
is the Crimson Ti. The "stiffer" version of the popular Crimson picks up
(and stiffens up) where last years Crimson left off.
With its chubby outline
this ski gives you plenty of lift in powder while being super-light
for an awesome level of balanced flex.
With its 86mm waist, this ski
is a free-riders dream !! If you are looking for a ski that's true home
is in the crud and powder, than the Crimson from Atomic will
take care of it all.
If you needs are for a
light, high-quality all-mountain ski, the Crimson Ti is your ski.
The 6 TFC sectors in the
front end and 4 TFC sectors in the rear end combined with the Nano
Reinforcements make the ski run reassuringly smooth and stable.
The reliability of all
these functions together makes this the number 1 ski for maximum
enjoyment all over the mountain.
Easy to turn, agile and
maneuverable giving you the "running on rails“ feel both on the
slope and in powder.
Simply a lot of fun wherever you ski.
Ski Reviews:
Skiing Magazine - "One of the top-rated
skis in the test, the all-mountain Atomic Nomad Crimson Ti - with
ample width for pounding powder and a natural aptitude for speed -
is ready to rumble."
Realskiers.com - "Like many
manufacturers these days, Atomic places heavy emphasis for '09 on
beefing up the free-ride collection. Coming in a notch above the
Crimson, the Ti is a more powerful version of that popular model.
Our strong technical skiers preferred the Ti; our less aggressive
testers generally liked the Crimson. For those all mountain skiers
who found the Crimson interesting, but desired more power and top
end performance, the Ti fills the gap"
What's inside:
Six
TFC sectors in the tip and
four in the tail of the ski ensure a soft flex, while the reinforcement
built with nano-technology positioned in the middle of the ski
between the TFC sectors provides the necessary torsional rigidity.
Dynamic, stable and with optimal edge grip.
The Nomad Crimson Ski features Atomics Torsion and Flex Control (TFC). The
innovation of TFC shaves excess weight in the tip and tail, and creates
forgiving flex zones. Yet the Atomic Nomad’s nano-reinforced backbone
puts a stranglehold on twisting so Nomads go where you point them, and
deliver the unique edge control that is Atomics’ hallmark.
The average
Atomic Nomad is 1.5 pounds lighter (20%) than yesterday’s shapes.
Imagine not having to fight an extra 1.5 pounds over the course of the
entire ski vacation. On today’s Nomads, you’ll ski longer without
getting tired, turn easier and feel more confident.
The side-cut
represents an ideal compromise between turning and stability. Skiing the
Nomads shorter will make for even easier handling.
