Room Box for 1:12 Display

'GRANNY'S KITCHEN'

Framed room or display box for 1:12 use

Another box that has been awaiting completion for some time - managed to find a suitable door last week for the pantry so it has all been repainted and is ready to go

Granny's kitchen has a stone effect floor and rough cast whitewashed walls

There are beams on the ceiling and a cupboard or larder in one corner with internal shelves and an opening door with white knob - the door is a little tight so is probably best left ajar

There is a pot belly stove in the arched recess with a bucket of loose coal. Neither of these are fixed in place so a different range or dresser could be used instead

The exterior of the box also has a rough cast finish and the front is framed

All finished in white with pale blue woodwork

The internal measurements of the box are as follows:

Width - 11 3/4"

Height - 8 1/2"

Depth - 7 1/2" (into recess)

The stove and coal bucket are Chrysnbon kits which I have assembled and painted in matt black enamel

The door is from a commercial mass-produced range and the higher than usual starting price takes the cost of these items into account

UK postage will be £8.00

Overseas postage will be about £20 as I can pack this into a box that can go at 'small packet' rate

I have several other boxes to complete and these will be listed over the next few weeks as I have suitable workspace now in which to finish them so as they say.....
