This is a powerful 48 volt fan cooled ball bearing DC series wound field electric motor. This motor comes with the 12 tooth sprocket for number #25 chain for easy connection with scooter, battle bot  or other apllication. the removable sprocket can be on the front of the motor or rear or may be removed. This motor is suitable as a low cost project motor for battle bots, powertools, scooters ect. Veiw the picture illustration of the motor to see just how well this will suit you project. Originall designed for shopvacs, this motor will produce approximately 50 inch oz of torque at approximately 10,000 RPM with 48 volt at approximately 8.5 amps. Motor shaft turns CCW facing smooth shaft end of motor and CW facing threaded shaft end. threaded end makes attachments easier. This motor is suitable for all types of projects. Originally designed for high voltage. This motor can work on AC house current at 120 volts or 120V DC with 30,000 RPM approximately at 50 inch oz of torque and 1.5 HP.
