This
mohair comes from a healthy home raised angora, like all our mohair. We
(Brenda & Melanie) raise Angora Goats in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains. Our goats
receive the best of care, are mostly on pasture during the day under a canopy of White Oaks and Ponderosa Pines. At sunset they are brought in to go sleep in the barn where they are safe in the wee hours of the night.
Our angora goats also enjoy vitamins, grain and snacks such as raisins and banana peices daily right from our hand
plus free choice minerals that are laid out for them to choose as they need to help add luster to their hair.
