Brand new 1.25" Astrovisioneer brand 45 degree correct image diagonal. I know you haven't heard of that brand so I will tell you a little bit about it. This is made in China like most diagonals are today. But Astrovisioneer makes only high quality diagonals at very low prices. Two problems that are common with 45 degree diagonals are: 1. there is always a vertical line in the optical path due to the way the 45 degree prism is made. AV diagonals have a very very tiny line, almost invisible. This gives the best quality image. 2. some 45 degree diagonal prisms will get loose inside and not work any more with just a mild shock or bump. AV 45 degree diagonal prisms are firmly set into place, so they don't get loose. This diagonal screws on the back of the Meade ETX and also fits Meade and Celestron visual back threads. So if you have an Meade ETX 90, 105 or 125 or an SCT scope with a 1.25" visual back and want a nice screw on correct image diagonal, here it is! This diagonal does not work with the ETX 60, 70 or 80. If you want a quality diagonal that will not degrade the image and you DON'T WANT TO PAY $50 OR MORE FOR IT, than get this one! At this price, you can't go wrong.
