You are bidding on a 3 inch polished stainless steel sphere (both the 3 inch and 4 inch are shown for comparison, they are the same price and the 4 inch is available in one of my other ebay auctions, THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE 3 inch SPHERE). It is designed to be used as a topload with a Tesla Coil or Van De Graff Generator. It has a 1/4-20 theaded ZINC PLATED STEEL insert for mounting. To my knowledge, I am the only one using this type of strong mounting system. The picture of the Tesla Coil in operation belongs to my friend Miles, who builds lots of coils and only uses spheres for his toploads. Also pictured is my topload insulator and how it mount my toploads to a PVC cap. The topload insulator is available at one of my other auctions. This auction is for the sphere only. I stock lots of different spheres. If you don't see what your looking for, check my eBay store or let me know.

A note on shipping:
I ship fast, the next business day. I ship packages the way I like to receive them with bubble wrap, foam, quality cartons and double boxing when necessary. My shipping charge is a flat rate for the USA and Canada (see the shipping comments for Canadian rates). My rates take in to account a lot of factors and are the bare minimum I need to stay in business. All other international shipments are my actual air shipping cost and insurance, plus $5 US.
