Mounted in Deco Platinum filigree with art carved detail this part of the ring is believed to be original. The top and prongs for the major center may have been reconstructed at some point.  We acquired this with an EGL Cert Report #US60320106D (copy available), Estimated value by EGL, $9774.00, June 2009. But, the center stone is not original to the mounting.
  
  The pictures portray the item as it is and are not enhanced in anyway. Diamond is eye clean & bright, any dark areas are reflections of the surroundings, dust or lint and the camera. No eye visable inclusions noted, an abraision under high magnification along the girdle near a prong. Diamond is very lively and has tons of character, loads of flash and sparkle.  This is an exceptional heirloom quality antique. 
 
These items are not described as new. Most old cut diamonds were cut to less than perfect specifications hence the terms for different cuts. Specifically described as an antique with conditions to be expected for an item so described. We do not offer returns or concessions for this very reason. Evaluations and necessary maintenance should be done by a reputable benchman, one who has experience with vintage and antique pieces.
