The perfect cornerstone for a simple, multiple voltage, bench/utility supply. Wire the output directly to one set of binding posts and then add some 78xx or 79xx series regulators to create multiple outputs. Better still, use an LM317 and make a simple dual supply with one fixed and one variable output. The possibilities are endless.

** Output Voltage Modification **

Caution: Modifications of any kind will void our 14 day non-DOA guarantee. That said, this supply has a fixed output, but can be easily modified by an experienced technician to produce an output voltage (fixed or even adjustable) slightly higher or lower than nominal if, for example, you need 12 or 13.8 VDC. It only takes one trimmer (or two fixed resistors) and optionally changing or removing a zener diode to do the trick. (The trimmer/resistors make a voltage divider similar to LM317 circuits and the zener is an optional voltage clamp.) If you are interested in the details, contact us for additional information. But please understand that since we have no control over the accuracy of your work, modifying your supply voids our 14 day non-DOA guarantee. Modified supplies are not returnable for refund.
