SOUL PROVIDER, the follow-up to Michael Bolton's commercial breakthrough THE HUNGER, is the album that turned the singer into a superstar. Like the previous album, SOUL PROVIDER features two covers. Bolton trots out an homage to Ray Charles' famous version of "Georgia on My Mind" (featuring background-vocal work from disco diva Vicki Sue Robinson, AWOL on record since "Turn the Beat Around"), and unearths his own "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You"- originally written for '80s icon Laura Brannigan. Bolton also duets with Susi Benson ("From Now On") and collaborates with legendary Brill Building tunesmiths Barry Mann and Cynthia Weill on the grandiose ballad "Stand up for Love."

Our CDs are generally in New, or Like-New previously played condition. Our CDs are often marked in some way to prevent their resale at full price: a holepunch through the barcode (UPC) or case, a cut through the jewel case cover, or a pen mark or other small marking, stamp or sticker on the package itself. These marks do not affect play in any way.Some may even be record club issues. Please email us with any questions you may have regarding a particular CD's condition or markings.

*NOTE* We do try to package all our shipments in the safest most secure manner. Jewel cases are very fragile and sometimes a case will be damaged during shipping. This will not affect the condition of your CD. Thank you for your understanding.
