Kese is an abbrasive mitt which is used to remove the outer layer of dead skin and the dirt out of the pores. It is not treated with any chemicals. It is the fiber that cleans the skin. For a rough scrub it is suggested to use the kese without any soap, it is enough to wet the mitt with water. However, if your skin is sensitive you can use it on a foamed skin. To have a longer use of the kese, it is important to rinse the mitt well after each use and avoid leaving it wet.

In the traditional Turkish Bath kese is used after resting 10-15 minutes in the steam room, this heavy perspiration opens the pores and allows a deep cleaning. It is a relaxing experience which also stimulates blood circulation and improves the elasticity of skin.
