500 1" tiles will cover approximately 4 square feet assuming room for grout lines. These tiles are handcut and are not perfect but darn close. A few tiles may be a tad bigger and a few a tad smaller than 1" but most are spot-on.  The tiles are suitable for indoor or outdoor projects and pair well with any other stained glass tiles.  These tiles can be painted with glass paints or etched (see the Project Idea below).

 Great Project Idea: Lay out a large area of tiles upside down. Tape them with low adhesive masking tape (painters tape) along each seam on the back side. Flip the tile piece over. Using one or more stencils, a paint brush and liquid making glue paint a design onto the mirror surface of the tile sheet as if it were one whole mirror. Once the liquid glue has dried apply etching cream with a foam brush covering the entire mirror surface. Wait the recommended time (usually 5 minutes) and wipe the etching cream off or lay the tile sheet in the shower and rinse it off. Using a piece of plywood slightly larger than the tile sheet, adhere the tiles with weldbond glue, peeling the pieces off the masking tape and mosaicing them in the same order as they were - in essence reassemble the etched design on the plywood. Grout with a non-sanded grout to avoid scratching the mirror surface. You can then trim the plywood with other mosaic tiles or wood trim. The final design is an etched mirror mosaic wall hanging - beautiful!  I will be posting a photo of this in my eBay store soon - check back.
