“Grosso” Lavender, being the most fragrant of the plant species has been coveted since ancient times. Lavender is one of the most valuable herbs - both economically and visually. Lavender is almost synonymous for providing relief from common ailments,
as well as offering a distinct fragrance for many pleasurable uses!
A medieval favorite of British royalty, lavender was grown prolifically by estate gardeners for brewing with sugar or honey for refreshing meads. Aside from dream pillows, sachets and lavender wands, lavender is useful in modern kitchens as well! Add buds to biscotti, pound cakes or preserves.
