This Auction is for a used Yamaha PM1000 Input transformer made by Tamura, model GA80071. It was pulled from the talkback module and is the same transformer used for the mic pre on all the input channels and comes complete with mounting bracket/hardware.
Much of the characteristic sound of the PM1000 has to be attributed to this transformer. In fact, when the gain setting on the input module is set on any of the 5 upper settings, the active electronics in the mic pre are totally bypassed - you are listening to just the transformer. This can be seen on the schematic, which can be found here:
The trasnformer will be well packaged for shipment. I cannot guarantee performance, but do extend a non-DOA gaurantee, pending return and confirmation.
