Specimen Type : CrystalsType of Mineral: Quartz

 These are "Pecos Diamonds" found around the Pecos River between Ft. Sumner and Roswell, New Mexico.  I have picked MANY of these up and have never found any this size.  I found these in a local antique store.    These particular crystals average 1" across.. 

Being a gal from Eastern New Mexico, these crystals were treasured and found in most homes around here so they have a special place in my heart. 

These are a must for any mineral or crystal collector.
