FRAGRANCE: One of the "woodiest" scents of all essential oils. Very deep and enveloping reminiscent of the Far East.

ORIGIN: India
COMPONENTS: Wood

PROPERTIES: Anti-spasmatic, astringent, expectorant, sedative. Relaxing, calming. Soothes the nerves. Helps create a meditative environment. Excellent skin care additive to restore moisture and heal damaged skin. 
USES: Due to overharvesting and lack of reforestation, real Sandalwood is becoming very scarce and of course, very expensive.  Please take note to purchase this product from a reputable source as the scarcity and cost have led to "cut" and diluted oils being sold at the retail level.
Great with: Most oils. Very suitable to make an aroma more smooth. Any of the aphrodisiac oils. Jasmine, Patchouli, Rose, Rosewood, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang, etc. Also nice: Bergamot, Cedarwood, Mandarin & Neroli, Orange, Clary Sage and Frankincense, Lavender and Geranium.
