Black Blue Flash. Heavily foiled with metallic blue foil print on both sides of each strand (44 strands in all). The metal foiling may not fully show up in the photos, but makes for quite a bit of blue sparkle sheen in the water.
Double Deep Cup Colorado Blades. These deep cups have similar features to standard Colorado blades except the cupped lip creates less torque and decreases water resistance when reeling them in, so they won't physically exhaust you as quickly. This is important in a big heavy spinnerbait like this. You really cannot use them for extended periods, just brief sessions. The deep cup Colorado blades have slightly less (but still a ton of) vibration and can be reeled faster and easier than standard Colorados. Importantly, the deep cups are still Colorado blades, therefore the deep cups give you more vibration than most any other blade shapes.
Another important aspect of this particular blade pair is the sizing/spacing. Most things you read about spinnerbait blades talk about two properties - flash and vibration - that all blades have to different degrees. Even painted blades flash and reflect upon the water's mirrored surface. You read far less about blade silhouette and appearance. Painted blades have a better-defined silhouette and more solid appearance than metallic blades. Both these blades are smoky translucent black lacquered over nickel-plating. So the silhouette and appearance is halfway between unpainted metallic (nickel or gold) and solid painted colors.
You rarely if ever read about motion and action in spinnerbait blades, meaning the combined movements that blade pairings/spacings present to fish. The deep cup Colorado blades here are pair-sized and spaced in order to maximize the motion and action these two blades present to fish.
