Auction Explanation:
· There are 10 craftsman style doors available; however, the
list price is for 1 door.
· Except for Door#9, all of the
doors are missing glass, and every door needs some type
of work, which either we, or you could do. The list price reflects the
highest price you could possibly pay for any of these doors fully restored,
like the doors shown in the first or second photos.
· We've mentioned the wood type, swing, dimensions, and all
necessary repairs under the photos of each door. We've also included the
prices we would charge to do the repairs, and also the price if you would
like to buy the door as is, and make the repairs yourself.
· The doors have various sized lites, so we can only
provide you with an estimate of how much it would cost to replace the glass
of each door. If you need to know an exact price before you make us an
offer, email us with the # of the door you are interested in for an
exact quote. Otherwise, please proceed with the offer, and if the price of
the glass is lower, we'll refund you the difference via PayPal, or invoice
you for the difference if the cost is higher.
Ready to buy?
1. Once you've picked the door you would like to purchase, add the
"as is" cost of the door plus all repairs you would like made, as well as
the estimated cost of the glass.
2. Click the "Make an offer" button, under the "Buy it now"
button.
3. Input the number you calculated in Step#1. If you only want
certain repairs done, let us know which repairs you would like in the
"Additional Terms" textbox.
4. Click the "Confirm" button.
Origin: All doors were salvaged from Northeastern Ohio. We
cleaned the doors a bit, but we've left them in their "as found" condition.
Restoration/Customization: We could restore any of the
doors to look like new. We could also resize them to fit your opening,
modify them to match your ideal swing, build a frame, and we could do almost anything else
you imagine (see details under "Additional Services" below). Instead of 9 lites, would you prefer one of these doors to have
3 long vertical lites, or 3 smaller lites on top and bottom and 1 big one in
the center? Get creative! If you have an idea, email us for a quote. *
Please let us know if you would like any "Additional Services", after the
auction, and we'll include it in your eBay invoice as an "Additional
Charge".
Hardware: Some doors may have a mortise lock, but for the
most part, the doors are not equipped with hardware.
* We have several period entry sets available in our store. If you buy
one from us, we'll install it for no extra charge.
Condition: All of the doors in this auction are strong, sturdy,
heavy!, and in good shape. The flaws you see in the photos are all cosmetic
and are repairable.
Additional Services:
1.
Framing: We could make a pine frame for any door for $110
($200 for an oak frame). With the frame built, all you would have to do is finish the frame with the
paint or stain of your choice, and then connect the 3 parts of the frame and
attach the door to the frame. Framing requires precise measuring and
cutting; with this step out of the way, installation would be much easier
and quicker.
2.
Height Change: We could cut any door
to make it shorter for $25/cut and we could also add to it,
to make it taller for $40/addition.
Please note that if we add to the door, the addition would be very noticeable if stained, and is only recommended if you are going to paint the
door.
3. Width Change: We could cut any door
to make it narrower for $35/cut, and we could also add to it, to make it wider for $60/addition.

Swing Change: We could modify any door to swing in the
opposite direction for $30.
Shipping:
PA, VA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, & New England: We are doing
deliveries November 9 - 13. If you
are not too far from our route, home delivery would be $125 - $175 depending on your location.

are doing deliveries in December. If you
are not too far from our route, home delivery would be $200 - $250 depending on your location.
