Here is a collection of 10 cross-stitch magazines that have such lovely patterns and ideas in them. They have a little shelf wear on them, but have been stored away, so they're still in good shape.  I did not find any writing in them.  Some of the corners are turned down for projects I was interested in, but that's it.

• CountryStitch--2 issues; premier collector's issue 1990 with Christmas ideas and July/August 1990 with barnyard favorites, patriotic Americana designs and classic samplers.
• Just CrossStitch--2 issues; May/June 1988 with wedding sampler, mother's bookmark, father's design, cat, Jeanne Christine designs, Thomas-Bird designs, birthday;  February 1990 with P. Buckley Moss, a clutter of critters, a hope chest collection, more!
• For the Love of Cross Stitch--2 issues; Premier issue 1988- Holiday sweaters, goose garden, Anne cloth animal designs for baby afghans, more; September 1990--country kitchen, little country wreaths, at the circus, for a favorite teacher, more!
• Homestead Classics Cross Stitch Collectibles--1 issue, November 1989--quick and easy crafts, Christmas ornaments, heirloom samplers, country decorations and more.
• Crafting Traditions--1 issue, Sampler Edition--patterns and designs for Christmas, birthdays, Halloween and Easter; never used.
• Classic Cross-Stitch:A Needle Arts Collection by Herrschners--1 issue. August/September 1988-- floral wreath, ideas for Christmas and Halloween, plus waste canvas, hardanger and more.
• Cross Stitch! Magazine--1 issue February/March 1991; bunny-towel holder, bluebird mantel clock, quilt star, kittens, small baby sampler, dinosaur switchplates, "A Child Learns What He Lives" sampler; middle page included but not attached on this one.
