Description for the Easton Williamsport: LWP1 Youth:
New for 2010! Introducing the new Easton Williamsport LWP1 youth baseball bat. The Williamsport, has it's name from Williamsport, Pennsylvania home of the annual Little League World Series. The Williamsport has a super extreme lightweight -13.5 length to weight ratio. It is made from Easton's own Sc900 Scandium Alloy. The ever-durable Sc900 Scandium Alloy is extremely strong and gives great pop when the ball comes off the bat. The LWP1 has a Hitting Area Rating of 80, giving it a great hitting surface and large sweet spot. The Williamsport has a Swing Weight (M.O.I.) Rating of 55 giving it a balanced swing weight. The Handle Flex Rating of 100 gives the hitter more bat control and adds power when combined with the super light -13.5 length to weight ratio. The LWP1 features a 2 1/4 inch extended barrel, for an even larger hitting surface. The Easton Williamsport comes with Eastons twelve (12) month limited manufacturers warranty.
