You are bidding on a half dozen (6) Cherise #10 egg imitations called Glo Bugs or Glo Eggs. These flies are tied on stong Dai Riki #135 hooks and McFly Foam. I use McFly foam rather than the usual yarn bacause the foam saturates with water quicker and stays in the strike zone better. The McFly Foam is quite durable and even after many fish, the fly maintains it's shape and condition. Glo-eggs or Glo bugs as they are sometimes called are one of the most basic flies to carry in your box and can account for large numbers of fish at certain times of the year. The best times of the year to use these flies is in the spring right after spawning occurs or in the fall, again during spawning runs. Check out the times of year the fish in your target rivers are spawning to get a more accurate idea. Don't overlook the times that coarse fish spawn as the gamefish will likely be actively feeding on this spawn as well. Just as when you fish with insect imitations, match the egg to what is present in the streams. We recommend carrying a variety of colors to suit changing conditions.

Fish these flies deep, near the bottom. I like to add a bit of splitshot about 12 - 18 inches above the fly, or fish it as a dropper off of large dry patterns. These flies normaly run between 1.00 and 1.50 in fly shops, so take advantage of this offer and stock up your boxes for the season.

Your flies are tied when you order, so if you would like a blood spot added to the egg, it is no problem. You can request a dot to be tied with any color pictured in the chart below. I also will combine shipping for all flies if you purchase multiple colors and sizes. Flies are shipped in a protective rigid envelope so that the flies are not crushed when you receive them.

All of our flies are tied by myself, a dedicated fly fisherman. I use only the highest quality Mustad, Dai Riki, Tiemco and Partridge fly fishing hooks. I use high quality Whiting, Metz and Howard's Hackle in our flies. All other materials used in the manufacture of the flies are the best quality.
