Soap Making is a Snap. Let's Get Fancy With 2-Tone Soaps
Step 1: Remove the soap from the package and break off two 1" cubes along the score lines. Place the two cubes of soap in a microwavable container and heat in microwave for 20 seconds or until the soap liquifies.
If the soap starts to boil, remove it immediately from the microwave and stir with a spoon to cool the soap.
Step 2:
Carefully the opaque soap into the small fruit wedges or square mold cavities. Allow the inserts to cool and solidify for about 30 minutes.
Step 3: Break off and place one quarter of another color soap brick in the microwave and heat for about 20 seconds. If it is not yet melted, reheat for an additional ten seconds. Then pour the melted soap into the mold, filling the cavity.
Step 4: After the soap cools--it should take about a hour--turn the mold over and apply firm, constant pressure with the thumbs until the soap pops out.
Step 5: Astound your friends, family or customers with your soap making abilities.
