Here is beautiful little 10" Matthew all dressed up in his sailor suit.  He is out of his box only for pictures.  He comes with all his papers and certificates.  He is one in a series called " Picture Perfect Babies"  by Yolanda Bello for the Ashton Drake Co/ Knowles China. He is fine porcelain bisque head, hands and feet, with cloth body.   He is marked on the back of head # 7014W 1987.   He is a hand painted original in a limited edition.  Matthew has molded light brown hair, set green glass eyes, lovely peachy blush on his cheeks and lips and has a sly 1/2 smile.  He has formed fingers, all good.  He is dressed in a white cotton sailor style suit with blue trims and big red bowtie.  His cap has a red pompom.  His socks are lacy white and he is wearing black leather shoes with ties.  He comes with his navy silky blanket, which is trimmed with white ribbon. 

This doll belonged to a collection of my deceased wife.  She was an avid doll collector who collected for many years.  She collected many different types of dolls.  Unfortunately I must part with most of the collection as I am downsizing.  This doll comes from an animal and smoke free home.  I have described this doll to the best of my ability and knowledge.  I welcome any questions.  Thank you for looking at my site.  I hope you find something you like.  Many, many more dolls to come weekly.
