In creating this 25" necklace, I combined 10 sponge coral beads, large butterscotch amber nuggets and a sterling silver toggle clasp. The amber nuggets vary from about 5/8" to 1 1/9" by 1/2" to 3/4" by 1/8" to 3/8".

These sponge coral beads are crafted from chunks of natural sponge coral that have been harvested in the deep sea, They are cut, ground, polished and color treated to give them their red-orange glow. The natural variations and lines add to the uniqueness of these beads.

As the necklace is a long 25 inches, it'll go great with turtleneck sweaters. The red of the sponge coral and the orange-yellow color of the amber complement fall colors.
