 The krystal egg fly, also known as the glo-bug, was originally designed to imitate fish roe, a naturally-occurring food that Trout, Steelhead, and Salmon eat with gusto.  When salmon spawn, there are always trout just downstream from them, waiting to scarf up loose eggs.  Throughout the American continent and parts of Europe fly fishing anglers take advantage of the Salmon spawning season by rolling an egg fly along the river bed just below salmon spawning grounds.

SIMPLY SLIP ON A HOOK AND GLUE IN PLACE.  IT IS THAT EASY.
