You can add color, gradient or textures to them, rotate them to fit any picture, combine them, or just let them black

You will need a photo-editing software program that can work with layers, such as:
Adobe Photoshop, Paint shop, CorelPhotopaint, PhotoDeluxe, Illustrator, ArcSoft PhotoStudio, and many others.
I use Paint shop it is really easy to use.

These Photo Edges are in psd* and psp* file format, transparent background just add the edges to your
pictures and add color if you wish.

then you no will have problems to open them
