Last summer I purchased a large lot of old family photos in Topeka Kansas. I have divided it into several smaller lots according to age and type. As a whole, they range in age from very early 1900's (or possibly late 1800's) to a few from the 1970's. The majority of the family names I found were Railsback, Edwards and Williamson, Many of the photos are marked Osceola Iowa on the back. I would much rather sell these to decedents of this family so if you know anyone with these last names that have roots in Iowa, please let them know. Most of the lots will contain two or three hundred photos but some of the more specialty pictures (military, autos, sports, etc.) will be sold in smaller lots or individually. In addition to photos, the lot contained some old marriage/death certificates and military documents which I will also be listing. Everything I list from this lot will be in a separate category in my ebay store entitled Railsback/Edwards Photographs. Each lot will contain the exact items pictured but I can only take 12 photos for each listing so most of the lots will contain several photographs not shown in the listing. As a whole, the pictures and albums range in condition from excellent to rough but most everything is in good condition. There's some really neat old pictures in these lots. I will be happy to combine shipping if multiple lots are won by the same person so bid on as many as you want and I'll send you a combined invoice after the auctions end.
