Microplates are manufactured from clear virgin polystyrene resin selected for high optical clarity and are designed to meet industry standard dimension specifications to facilitate compatibility with microplate handling and robotics. Wells have flat bottoms and rounded square tops (square with round corners) designed to minimize wicking and reduce air bubble formation, while increasing volume capacity and surface area. Plates are stackable.

A thing I can't always determine (when applicable) is if an item was switched into the wrong box or if the mounting hardware or some other extraneous part has been removed from the unit or the package.
