If you love duck hunting, yesteryears wood decoys of ducks and waterfowl, if you are a collector of rare, top notch specimens of wildfowl decoys, then this book will not disappoint you. It has high quality, detailed, beautiful full- color photos of decoys that knowledgeable collectors consider to be among the top in existence. The decoys were largely in private collections and were photographed over a 2 year period (1998-1999). It had to be a difficult selection process......after photographing more than 250 exceptional duck, geese, shorebird decoys carved and used for hunting between the mid 19th and 20th centuries, the photos were pared down to these representative 100. Of interest to the collector and the carver/artist as well. Originally retailed for $49.95. Krause Publications 2000.

This 208 page new, hardcover book with dustjacket is in excellent condition.

All of my shipping is via USPS Media Mail, unless otherwise indicated.

My charges for shipping & handling include:

·    Actual shipping charges based on weight of package (+/- 3 oz.)

·        A handling charge of $1 - $2 to partially offset the increasing expense of doing business with Ebay/PayPal.

I am in the business of selling books. This means that on a per item basis I have a relatively small profit margin. I strive to insure that my books are not subject to shipping damage and arrive at your door in the same condition described in my listing. I incur many packaging expenses including sturdy boxes, packaging material, labels & tape. Ebay has also raised their fees for listing and final auction fees in addition to forcing sellers to only accept electronic forms of payment such as PayPal (which is also owned by Ebay). PayPal then charges sellers an additional fee for payment processing. These represent an additional cost to me that reduces my ability to make a profit. With these changes implemented by Ebay I have had to start charging a minimal handling fee in order to cover the cost of doing business.
