This book is in good condition. There is a inch long bend in the bottom of the back cover. There are no tears, stains or folds. There is a pencil erasure in the upper right hand corner of the inside cover page. There is no dust jacket. It was published by Grosset and Dunlap, New York. It measures eleven inches by eight and a half inches and has some wonderful black and white sports photographs for illustrations. the author is known for his books on sports and also as a broadcaster on radio and television. He dedicated this book to John F.Kennedy "A True Friend of Sports".
