100 % Wool Cloche Millinery Flapper Church Hat

Today’s auction is one of my unique Hand Blocked cloche hat. I first start with a Wool Felt hat body and stretch over one of my wooden blocks. The back has an interesting tie back; I use remnants from this felt material to create the tie strings. This feature accommodates a variety of head sizes: 21.5 to 23.0 inches. I have incorporated four of my trademark hand-dyed leather "origami cranes". Stunning embellishment! This is not the actual hat. You have the choice in color of the felt hat body and the leather embellishments. Just let me know what color you want and confirm with me before you select.

How to measure your head:

1. Using a tape measure made of plastic or cloth, measure circumference of head just above top of ears and just above the brow. Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the little bone in the middle of the back of your head).

2. Place the tape measure at the top center of your head and measure the distance to where you want the brim to place. This will give the crown depth. It is important that you provide these two measurements to get a perfect fit. Remember; please include your hair in both measurements. Don't pull the tape too tightly; let it sit comfortably, i.e. how you'd like the hat to fit.
