jacqueline rabun

born in america, jacqueline rabun began her journey into the world of
contemporary jewelry upon her arrival in london in 1989.
her challenge, to recycle the basic forms of traditional jewelry
and present them in a modern environment, in order to realize a new generation
of modern classics. as a self-taught jeweler jacqueline rabun has been allowed
to explore and develop her style without limitations, allowing a free flow of
concepts and ideas to be realized.

the centenary

in april 2004, it was 100 years since georg jensen
opened his workshop in copenhagen.


this centenary was marked with various activities throughout the year. the initial
event was on april 19, the actual anniversary date, when a large exhibition
opened at the danish national gallery.



when the company s founder, sculptor georg jensen, opened his small workshop in
bredgade, copenhagen in 1904 it is unlikely that he envisaged the influence he
would have on the future. georg jensen is known throughout most of the world also
because of the more than 100 shops and large network of dealers we have today,
the president explains.
