Hall was a public relations officer with the 4th Fighter Group (part of the 8th Air Force) and knew the men about whom he writes, including such well-known pilots as Chesley Peterson, John Godfrey, Don Blakeslee, and Don Gentile. Bookplate signed by Hall pasted inside front cover. Hardcover book in good condition; minimal wear. Dust jacket in only fair condition, with chips, tears, and wear, but essentially complete.
