One convenient use is resistor substitution in circuit optimization. Replace the test-select resistor with this pot and adjust the dial for best circuit performance. Then remove the pot, measure it and solder in a fixed resistor with it's measured value.

The precision of 0.25% linearity makes them ideal for use with a ten turn counter dial (not included) to provide a direct readout of resistance or other calibrated parameter.

 Perfect for fine tuning a HAM radio QRP VCO, precision voltage regulator, comparator reference input and many other applications where a pot with a mere ¾ turn rotation is much too coarse.
