Remember that this is not high frequency power supply. This is DC power supply. So you can get bad shock or worse. Current 1-2mA. You can change polarity by switching the switch located on right side of the instrument. We recommend switch off power before you do this. On the middle is potentiometer to adjust level on voltage from about 10-15kV to 100 kilovolts. Have a fun, but remember about safety first! Communication equipment could be effected. For lifters you  must use on  one side of output HV diode (I  have them listed). Recommended one 100kV or  two 75kV diodes in series. Do  not  crank pot to end as voltage  could reach 180kV DC. Pulsed 70Hz voltage is  more effective  for lifting.  If sparking and with  gap 90mm (max.) unit  can be  used only  for 15 min, but without sparking unit can be used steady (depends  from current you take.
