A truly high quality Machined Aluminum Reel at an Affordable Price. I mean this Reel is Exquisite. It has features as Fine as any reel I've seen. AND YOU DON'T NEED A WEEK'S PAYCHECK TO AFFORD IT. The Reel is made in 4 sizes This is the #101M. It is the smallest of the 4 reels. It measures 2.76 inches in diameter and has a spool width of 13/16ths inches. It weighs a mere 138 Grams. That is slightly over 4 ounces. It is made to accomodate a 3/4 Wt. Line plus backing. It is highly polished Anodized Aluminum in a Black Finish. The Aluminum is of Aircraft Strength, Hardness and Quality.

    The Spool is attractively vented on both sides for Rapid line drying as well as for making the reel lighter. A large Knurled Knob in the center of the spool makes for easy spool change as well as reel maintainence. It is of Center-Post Design with an adjustable Slip Clutch Mechanism. The drag is very smooth and EXTREMELY Efficient. There are no external gears and the Ratio is 1.0:0. The reel has 2 Precision Ball Bearings And a single Clutch Roller Bearing. The reel is soundless while winding.

    The Placement and Operation of the Drag Knob will allow you to play a fish and tighten or loosen the drag at the same time. AND BE ABLE TO DO IT EFFECTIVELY. The Foot is Narrow and will fit any reel seat without Modification. The reel is convertable from Right to Left Hand Wind.

    All in all it is one of the finest reel I have ever seen. By today's standards, I would rate this reel Excellent Plus, Superior.

    I have added a number of  PICTURES that show the workmanship and the internal workings and parts of the reels.

    To answer a question posed to me a number of times. YES, THESE REELS ARE THE SAME AS ONES SELLING FOR 4 TO 8 TIMES THE PRICE. They are an incredible buy and a tremendous value. Extra spools and other colors will be available in late March.

 

    If you are in a market for a reel of this size, I do not think you can go wrong in choosing it.
