It is a large Gorham sterling flatware set. It has 109 pieces. The name of the pattern is "Lily of the Valley". From around 1950. It comes in a nice wood chest with a bottom drawer. The chest is in good condition.
There are 12 forks - 7 1/4" long, 12 salad forks - 6 3/4" long, 12 knives - 9" long, 24 teaspoons - 6" long.
Extra pieces are 12 iced tea spoons - 7 3/4" long, 12 round soup spoons - 6 1/2" long, 5 flat handle butter spreaders 5 3/4" long, 7 hollow handle butter spreaders - 6 1/2" long (one of them has a blade that is a little different shape than the others).
Serving pieces are 3 serving spoons - 8 1/2" long, 1 master butter knife - 7" long, 1 sugar spoon - 6" long, 1 gravy ladle - 6 1/2" long, 1 meat fork - 8 1/4" long, 1 pastry server - 10 1/4" long, 1 olive fork, 1 lemon fork and 1 pickle fork, salad set - 1 large fork and 1 large spoon - 9 1/4" long.
The sterling set is in very good condition. It looks like it has not been used. It is a large and impressive set. From a Missouri estate.
