This is a nice sentimental piece of Victorian jewelry. This is a stickpin. It was mostly men that wore stickpins in their ties years ago. However today, I would say that its mostly women wearing them in their lapels. Although some classy "gents" still will wear stickpins in their ties. This stickpin is marked 10K. I have no ability to weigh it, it would be a light piece. I am not a gem expert, but the sparkly tiny center stone, I do believe is a diamond chip. This is a piece that someone wanted made a bit better, nor for the flash but for the sentimental reasons. The design is a classic Victorian "Love Knot", theme. The style of this piece, material used, etc. suggests to me a circa 1890s date for this item. This piece measures approx. 2.25"x .25". It has minor, normal expected wear, and is on overall good condition for its age. I don't get a lot of the better solid gold pieces anymore, so I am pleased to offer this sweet little stickpin for consideration. Check out my other items!
