10ct ROSE Gold Albert Pocket Watch Chain and Fob 49.9g

I have up for auction today a 10ct ROSE Gold Albert Pocket Watch Chain and Fob Weight 49.9 Grams *EXCELLENT BARGAIN*

This is a fabulous and very collectable HIGH QUALITY 10ct Rose Gold Albert Pocket Watch Chain and ornate Stone Fob indeed!

All the links on this stunning pocket watch chain are quite large and unusual in style too.

Each and every single link on the Albert Pocket Watch Chain is solid gold and not hollow.

There is a lozenge marking upon the pocket watch chain which reads as follows:-  10ct Gold.

Each of the longer oblong links measure 26mm by 8mm and the smaller oval links each measure 10mm by 8mm.

Attached to the pocket watch chain there is 1 x 10ct Gold Dog Clip, which is in good order and is hallmarked with:-  10ct Gold. 

There is also a T-Bar and the T-Bar is fixed upon its axle.

This high quality collectable pocket watch chain measures 15 inches (38cm) in length (including the dog clip and excluding the fob).

The beautiful circular swivel fob is also 10ct Rose Gold and has very stylish entwined designs at the top part of the fob and the actual fob has been decorated with a milky white stone on one side and on the other a black stone with a white stripe.  However I have to point out that there is a crack on the black stone.

The fob is sooooooooooooo Art Nouveau! 

The fob is marked follows:-  10ct Gold.

The fob measures 3cm by 1.8cm.

Collectively the 9ct Rose Gold Albert Pocket Watch Chain and ornate Fob weigh and amazing and astounding 49.9 grams, which is an excellent weight!!

Separately the chain weighs 44.9 grams and the fob weighs 5 grams.

Some people choose to wear these pocket watch chains as necklaces or bracelets (by doubling up the chain), whichever you so desire! 

This is an exceptionally fine piece and would make a terrific addition for your own personal collection or maybe given as a special gift.

History/Information:-  The name “Albert Chain” in memory of Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert, who was fond of wearing watch chains with his morning attire.

Watch chains worn by women during the period were known as “Albertina Chains”. They were usually prettier, less masculine in design with generally finer features and used more as jewellery than as a functional item.

Both “Albert Chains' and “Albertina Chains” were made out of gold and silver but men's chains were much bigger and chunkier than the ladies chains and this held true for the watches as well.

I endeavour to post out packages within 3 working days of receiving payment and all packages are sent via ROYAL MAIL.  I post/send/ship packages each:-  Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (except for bank holidays).

The estimated delivery times given by Royal Mail are as follows:-

UK – Up to approximately 7 Working Days

Europe – Up to approximately 15 Working Days

USA/Worldwide – Up to approximately 21 Working Days

International Buyers Please Note:-

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or

P&P charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

These charges are normally collected by the courier company or when you pick the item up do not confuse them for additional P&P charges.

I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as 'gifts' -

When Bidding on my item please note that ALL of my items are carefully and very well packaged for their journey through the mail system. 

Please make sure you have taken note of the package and posting costs for UK residents and some Overseas Buyers will be notified of costs for postage and packaging upon invoicing.

ALL my items are sent by First Class 'Recorded Delivery' for inside the UK (British Isles) and First Class Royal Air Mail for Overseas unless asked for the item to be Insured. 

For ALL Overseas Buyers I will obtain a 'Certificate of Posting' as proof of posting, which I will be glad to pass on to you if the package should be lost,  however I DO NOT ACCEPTABLE RESPONSIBILITY for any lost items unless you have requested insurance.

I will be happy to combine postage and packing costs for multi purchases.

My P&P charges are inclusive of Postage AND Packing Materials (NOT just postage costs).

I prefer payment via Paypal Worldwide, however I will accept Postal Orders and Personal Cheques from UK Bidders (Please DO NOT cross the Postal Orders!).

I do NOT accept payments via IBAN.

If overseas buyers wish to pay by 'Money Order' it MUST be in 'British Pounds Sterling' and NOT US Dollars as I DO NOT accept any other currency!!! 

Please do not bid if you do not intend to honour your bid and purchase the item. If no response to my requests for payment are answered by the buyer, then I will have no hesitation in reporting non-payment to eBay and re-listing the item!

RETURNS & REFUNDS - If a refund is required, the item must be returned immediately or within 7 days of receiving the item.  I DO NOT refund P&P costs for any items returned, or the return costs, I ONLY refund for the actual item/s that are being returned!
