A lovely German bisque Bye-Lo Baby circa 1926, with head made by Alt, Beck & Gottschalk, she has a perfect head incised “Copr. by // Grace S. Putnam // MADE IN GERMANY // 1375.”  The original cloth ‘frog body’ is stamped “BYE-LO BABY // Pat. Appl’d. For // Copr. By Grace Story Putnam”. Tiny blue glass sleep eyes peer from her sweet face, celluloid hands are perfect with no damages or repairs, and the crier is inside but silent. A gorgeousfactory outfit of batiste gown, long slip and flannelet diaper make baby ready for immediate display; from original-owner, non-smoking home.
