This is the ideal motor/generator for experiments or Wind Generation for light electrical loads. The motor can also be used in a mini lathe (consider it use in MICRO-MARK MICROLUX, ATLAS 618, SOUTH BEND). A rectifier shown next to the motor can be added for operation as a motor on house current for $7 additional on request with a heat sink. Take a look at the ease with which this motor can be set with the rectifier and the great torque RPM curves data shows this motor is an exceptional find. This motor is rated at ½ HP at 120V and 5.5 amps with 10,000 RPM. It size and relatively low RPM enable you to light a small light bulb by just turning the shaft by hand. As a Generator gain 12 VDC at 1,000 RPM and 24 Volts at 2,000 RPM. Motor is made by American Bosch and is 3” x 7 ¼” including shaft. The shaft is 15/32” x 2 /¾” with threads 5/16”-18 x 5/16 threads making the attachment of any device easier.
