A VERY FULL STERLING SILVER FLATWARE SET BY DURGIN IN THE CHATHAM PATTERN No. 3 WITH THE BRIGHT CUT CLASSICAL ENGRAVING. MONOGRAMED IN THE OVAL: ACR. FIRST INTRODUCED IN 1915, THIS SERVICE PROBABLY 1940's. KNIVES (EXCEPT BUTTER) WITH HARDLY USED STAINLESS STEEL BLADES. THE STERLING ON THE KNIVES HAS USE SCRATCHES THAT DULL THE SURFACE, THE REMAINDER OF THE FLATWARE SHOWING BRIGHTNESS AND MINOR USE SCRATCHES. NO BENT BOWLS OR TINES. TOTAL WEIGHT OF STERLING ONLY ITEMS IS 6 lbs. 9.6 oz.
