I have several items that were hand-carved by my father from the 1940s to the 1990s. Due to failing health, he was no longer able to continue his work and gave me all of the items left from his craft booth just prior to 2000. These items have been in storage since that time. He is now 93 years old and in a nursing home. Not wanting to re-open a booth, I am offering these items for sale as I have carvings all over my home and just don't need any more. Some have stickers on the back or bottom with his name and the date that he completed the item, but most do not. In cases where there is more than 1 item offered for sale, I have taken pictures of 1 of them. The item you receive will either be the exact one pictured or one that is as identical as possible to it. These items are hand-carved, meaning no two are going to be exactly the same. Not every vein in every leaf is going to be identical - that's the nature and beauty of them being hand-carved. They are as individual as their creator, however, differences will not stand out or be easily spotted. A pair of frames will be a match. *Just a note: The tail appears to be a seperate piece from the body added on at completion. As you can see from the pictures, it is not noticeable in them. However, under close inspection, you may notice the line where it was attached. Just wanted you to know so that you don't receive the item and think I was trying to hide anything from you about its condition. Thanks!
