12 Hole Ocarina in Alto C, Focalink




This Ocarina is tuned in Alto C, and plays chromatic 21 notes, in the traditional 12 hole style. It is made from ceramic, which provides a warm earthy tone to the bright sounding ocarina. Special care is given to provide for accurate tuning, and a pleasing sense of breath pressure and timbre, with a bright and crisp tonality. This is a professional quality ocarina that is also suitable for beginners.

A padded case is included.

The songbook and tutorial is written on ocarina tablature, showing the holes to cover and uncover to make the notes, so knowledge of traditional written music is unnecessary.
However, the songbooks are mostly to help you figure out the many possibilities of the ocarina, rather than to provide you with a repetoire. Also, it is best to learn to play the songs "by heart", they sound better that way, and you look better playing them that way too!
