I try my best to give as accurate a description as possible but remember this is a used laptop. I show lots of photos (supersized) so you can see in detail what you're bidding on. I've worked in retail for nearly 30 years and although the customer isn't always right, the customer should always be treated like I would like to be treated and I try my best to do that . For Sale: Apple Aluminum Powerbook G4. 867Mhz processor, has 640MB of RAM , 32MB video, has a Combo Drive which plays both CDs and DVDs and burns CDs. Has a 40G hard drive. Comes with OS Panter 10.3 installed and the install disks are included. Has an Airport Extreme card installed for WiFi connections. Comes with a good battery(lasts about 11/2 hrs. playing a DVD) and a new power adapter and cord. The 12" Powerbook is no longer made which is a shame because these are a great laptop. They are easier to handle and transport than their larger cousins.

Condition: In fine 100% working condition The LCD is very nice, bright, clear with no dead pixels. This laptop is in very good condition, has some scratches but they are minor. The keyboard area is very nice and the track pad works fine. The latch for the LCD doesn't work (see photo) so it doesn't close fully but this doesn't effect anything. This system will be ready to go right from the box.

If your a Windows user consider the following reasons to switch over to a MAC. Window's crash Mac's don't and they don't get viruses either. With Windows you need to upgrade in order to run the newest opperating system, with Mac you don't. I had been using a mac is that was over 5 years old and it ran the then newest O.S without a glich. I recently got a great deal on a newer system with Leopard but I'm sure I could have installed Leopard on the old system with no problems because that's the way Macs are made...they don't become outdated very quickly like Windows systems do. Everything is easier with a Mac too. Finding a file is a snap, with Windows it's a search that takes way too long followed by you having to search through list of files to find what you want. Printers, cameras etc aren't a pain with a Mac. Usually you just plug them in and answer a few questions and you're ready to go. An example of the easy of use with a Mac is with a Bluetooth mouse. With Mac you just click on the Bluetooth icon, click on "set up Bluetooth device", click on "continue", click on what you want to install. It finds the device and installs it, click on finish. I tried setting up a Bluetooth mouse on a Windows laptop and it was a pain. Install some software, answers questions, read through instructions to try to figure out why it's not working and addition 20 minutes to get it to work. So it's 1 minute vs. 30. With Mac you don't get viruses so start up and shutdowns are very fast. The Mac I'm writting this with shuts down in 11 seconds. Mac's commercials are ten times better too. There's more but I should keep it brief so you can finish reading this before your system freezes.
