12 Vintage Venus Velvet American Pencil Co Pencils

You are looking at a set of 12 unused and unsharpened Blue Band Venus Velvet pencils from The American Pencil Company in the original box.

 

These pencils have "Venus Velvet Made in USA 557 No 2" oneach pencil.  The all have the blude plastic band, which according to my research, indiactes these are from the World War II era.

The box is in good condition and has a "557 No 2 Soft" sticker over the "3557" marrkings on the end flap of the bottom of the box.

The pictures show an accurate representation of the box's condition.
