These are dry, taxidermy preps - fixed through freeze-drying. This process is superior to traditional "skin and stuff" mounting - and the only way to prepare such a small, fragile specimen and retain details. Great specimens for school studies of embryology and development, fetal comparisons, ornithology, museum exhibits or displays, or your own little side show.
