12 Reloadable 35mm film cassettes, used
It's fun to roll your own! If you are experienced with home-rolled film, then you know how these work already. With a bulk reloader and a little practice, you can reuse these once-used film cans as many times as you can get them back from your film developing service or after your own processing. These are all once-used cassettes that have been inspected for mechanical utility. Environmentally friendly labels are included. You can use these labels to check off info about the film including ASA/ISO film speed and developing process.
The montage you see here shows the steps of reloading with a Watson Model 100 Bulk Film Loader (not included). Photo of item shows typical lot; actual items may vary. Some of these cans were made specifically for photographers home-rolling, and many were made for commercial film labels, but they are all fully reusable.
Due to variablities in self loaded film no warranty can be given. That said, I've done hundreds of reloadings this way with great success. The only problem happened once a long time ago, when I did not stick the film on to the spool well enough. The film was pulled out of the cassette inside the camera. The solution to this is to be sure and wrap tape all the way around the spool and secure the film on both sides with the tape. Good luck!
Film loading in 7 steps:
1. Start with reloadable cassette, bulk fiolm loader, tape, and scissors.
2. Pry open can with fingernail or dull knife.
3. Place about 2 1/2 in. of tape on spool as shown.
4. Wrap tape around spool and make sure film is taped on both sides. Take care to orient the spool properly according to how it loads in camera.
5. Put the spool back n the can and close the loader according to loader directions.
6. Cut the end of film for starting in camera.
7. Label the cassette.
There you have it!
Please note terms of our auctions:
1. If you have under 25 feedbacks with any negatives at all payment is required within 24 hrs. We reserve right to cancel sale if we do not hear from you right away. Any exceptions should be cleared up with us before you bid. (sorry, but past experience has been a teacher!)
2. If you are new to EBay (less than 3 feedbacks) the same applies as in #1 above.
3. If this auction uses insurance, buyer is responsible for providing evidence of the loss to the post office in a timely manner. Postal insurance does actually work, if both buyer and seller make a little effort in the rare instance of damage (only 3 times in over 800 transactions in my experience).
Please make sure you include item number and your mailing address in all communications…Thanks!
4. A US Postal Money Order is preferred. Paypal payments must be made from a confirmed address and a verified account. This means that if you have a shipping address that is other than USA, your only option for payment may be difficult, so I recommend that you contact me prior to bidding. If you have special circumstances please send a message before bidding. Thank you for looking!
