12"x 12"x 6" ACME Cast Nickel TOY STOVE #55 Pat'd 1902
J & E Stevens of Cromwell, Connecticut, manufactured this cast-nickel antique toy stove, #55 in Stevens' catalogue, marked "ACME" on the working oven door and "Patd Sept 23, 1902" molded on the back edge. The stove is cast with beautifully detailed scrolling, ferns, scallop shells and floral motifs. There are six burners, a reservoir with rectangular lid, richly decorated chimney front with two teapot shelves, skirt apron, side hearth and working interior ash-shaker. The side hearth has been sturdily repaired. Included are five burner-lids, a frying pan, rounded-bottom frying pan, and a stewpot, all of cast nickel. These stoves are wonderful for display with dolls and doll-size kitchenwares.

We ship UPS ground and insured for domestic shipments. We use USPS for international shipments. Shipping costs will vary depending on the size of item, type of packaging required and location being shipped to. We can only supply an EXACT quote once the item is packed and we have the exact weight and dimensions. All items shipped are insured (unless instructed otherwise at your own risk), packed with care and WELL PROTECTED. We ship via UPS, unless another carrier is specified. The International shipment quotes listed with the auction are an estimate. It could be more or less depending on the specifics of the shipment. Please include shipping address, zip code, desired method of shipping and insurance required for a closer estimate. Please note that large, heavy and/or fragile items or antiques will require additional time and cost to pack and ship.
Insurance is $1.00 per hundred that you wish to have insured. We strongly encourage all items shipped to be fully insured.
